Title: Pre-electoral Barometer of Vâlcea County
Abstract: The survey was conducted between August 27-31, 2024 on a local sample of 1,184 people with the right to vote, who live in Vâlcea County. Within each locality, interviews were conducted in a number proportional to the number of voters registered on the electoral lists. The selection of people from each locality was done randomly, from the BCS databases and from public databases existing on the internet and Facebook. The interviews were conducted by telephone, the answers being entered into a digital platform, and the interviews being made with audio recording. The following were measured: satisfaction with the way in which President Klaus Iohannis and Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu lead Romania, the perception of the qualities and defects of the candidates for the position of president, voting intentions, the projects desired by the population for the county, trust in local political leaders.
